IRIS direct end client which is one of the educational testing and assessment organization is urgently looking to hire Desktop Engineer (Endpoint Security Focus) – Princeton, NJ (Hybrid). This is a Contract opportunity.
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer with expertise in endpoint security and desktop administration. You will manage device provisioning, ensure compliance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize end-user experiences using tools like Microsoft Intune.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and secure endpoints using Microsoft Intune and related tools.
- Oversee device provisioning, imaging, and configuration.
- Enforce compliance policies and maintain system security.
- Manage printer drivers, spoolers, and peripheral configurations.
- Troubleshoot OS and application issues on end-user devices.
- Support and optimize desktop environments for seamless user interaction.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in endpoint engineering/desktop administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and security best practices.
- Experience with device provisioning and troubleshooting.
- Ability to resolve printer and driver-related issues.
- Understanding of OS behaviors and application support.
