Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with essential compliance, bookkeeping, and financial management tasks. The role involves supporting the accurate filing and payment of taxes, categorizing financial transactions in QuickBooks, and reconciling bank accounts to ensure financial integrity. Additional responsibilities include assisting with month-end reconciliations, generating owners’ statements, and ensuring timely vendor and invoice payments. You will also oversee disbursements from accounts, managing funds allocation for owners, savings, or bonuses. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in HR or finance, proficiency with platforms like QuickBooks or TriNet, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information. Availability for 10-20 hours per week is required.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance:
- Help file and pay monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes accurately and on time.
Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
- Help categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in reconciling all bank accounts regularly to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
- Help verify and record all transactions in BILL properly
Month-End Reconciliation:
- Assist in generating owners' statements every month
- Help pay vendors or outstanding invoices every 10th and 25th of every month.
- Oversee Relay accounts, ensuring funds are properly disbursed to owners, savings accounts, or bonuses every month
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably with exposure to finance.
- Experience using HRIS and accounting and payment platforms (e.g., TriNet, Quickbooks) is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and professionally.
- Ability to have 10-20 hours of availability a week
