Industrial Bulk CO2 Driver

Description

Summary: Drives a semi-tractor trailer with a tank to various locations and off loads product. Loads product into tanker on semi-tractor trailer at filling station by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Drives 200 plus miles per day locally.*

2. Operates pump and handles fill lines to off load CO2 product.*

3. Disconnects lines from pump.*

4. Hooks up hoses and fills line to load tractor trailer with CO2 at filling station.*

5. Completes written Department of Transportation paperwork.*

6. Completes written mileage sheets.*

7. Completes written manifest regarding contents being carried in truck.*

8. Drives on weekends as required.*

9. Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers.*

10. Completes pre and post inspections of vehicle every day.*

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

· Class A certification

· HazMat endorsement

· Air brake endorsement

· Tractor trailer endorsement

· Tank endorsement

Equipment:

· Pumps

· CO2 lines
