Job Description: We are seeking experienced front-of-house workers who value guest service, consistency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant setting and a strong desire to grow and advance within the company. The role will start with responsibilities at the host stand and food running, with the potential for promotion to serving based on experience, performance, and merit.
As part of our team, you will be integral to ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for our guests. You’ll work closely with both the front and back-of-house teams to guarantee our guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly at the host stand, managing reservations and walk-ins with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Assist with food running to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes to guests.
- Ensure all guests are seated promptly, and their needs are met throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand, dining room, and restroom areas.
- Provide assistance to servers and bartenders as needed to support the guest experience.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards for consistency, ensuring every guest receives the same level of excellent service.
- Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with light cleaning tasks and restocking supplies as needed.
- Exhibit reliability and punctuality, showing up for scheduled shifts on time and prepared.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, taking on additional responsibilities and training for future advancement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience, preferably in an upscale casual setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for guest interaction.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of reliability and punctuality; able to show up prepared for each shift.
- Positive, professional demeanor and a strong team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, ensuring a high level of service during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company; potential for advancement to server position based on performance.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, willing to assist in any front-of-house role as needed.
