We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House (FOH) team. This role will be a hybrid position, working both as a bartender and server based on business needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional service, knowledgeable about food and beverages, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bartending Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Preparation may include (but not limited to) batching cocktails, infusing alcohol, garnishes
- Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and ensure an excellent bar experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking liquor, garnishes, and supplies.
- Check customer identification and follow all alcohol service regulations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Answer the restaurant phone, process customer requests or transfer to appropriate person.
- Assist in open & closing procedures; done to a high standard.
- Perform side work and weekly cleaning
Serving Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver items in a timely manner.
- Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and well-maintained.
- Process payments and handle transactions efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Answer the restaurant phone, process customer requests or transfer to appropriate person.
- Assist in open & closing procedures; done to a high standard.
- Perform side work and weekly cleaning
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a bartender and/or server preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairings.
- Possess a fundamental industry knowledge with the willingness to grow ‘beyond the basics’
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure, while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25-50 lbs during shifts.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate:
Server shifts: $2.33 /hour
Bartender shifts: $10 /hour
This position could start as early as mid-April, and end as late as the end of October.
We also have employment opportunities at our central Wisconsin locations for those who wish to relocate after the end of the season.
