About This Role
We are seeking a skilled North American Sales Executive to join our team as a Technical Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies in the North American markets, creating and nurturing contacts with industry leaders, and showcasing our value proposition to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth in the North American markets.
- Create and maintain relationships with key customers, including engineers, buyers, and CEO's.
- Support customers with technical and commercial skills to retain them and drive additional revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and industry trends in the portfolio, including products and services.
- Independently manage sales accounts and rigorously follow the sales process.
- Develop, manage, and report on the sales pipeline within the territory.
- Build and maintain a multi-year forecast and provide accurate monthly booking forecasts.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in the North American rail industry (freight and/or transit), medical technology sales, and/or industrial automation preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully engaging with all levels within the customer's organization, including Top-Level management, decision makers, and end users.
- Ability to rapidly develop and leverage a network to drive sales opportunities and achieve growth targets.
- Superior presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
