Community Association Manager
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, occasional evenings for association meetings
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Homeowners Association (HOA)
- Comply with and enforce the governing documents and all local, state, and federal laws and advises the Board of Directors to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate and attend board meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and record meeting minutes
- Collect and manage HOA fees and assessments
- Respond to homeowner inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and landscaping services
- Prepare and distribute newsletters, notices, and other communications to homeowners
- Make recommendations on the annual assessments and capital improvement assessments, as applicable, in conjunction with the preparation of annual budgets.
-Inspect all associations to ensure compliance with the governing documents and issue all appropriate letters concerning violations.
Skills:
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between homeowners or with vendors
- Proficiency in Buildium or similar property management software for financial management and reporting
- Knowledge of facilities management principles to ensure proper maintenance of common areas
- Ability to organize and maintain files related to HOA documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Excellent negotiation skills for working with vendors on service contracts and pricing
- Experience in real estate administrative tasks such as preparing lease agreements or property listings
- Familiarity with property management practices including tenant screening, rent collection, and lease enforcement
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and other laws governing HOAs
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
