Title: Desktop Support L1
Location: 500 Water St, Jacksonville, FL 32202 (Onsite)
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, tracking, installation, and support of both Legacy and Modern Conference Rooms.
- Provide specialized support for Conference Rooms.
- Be responsible for the SLAs on a SNOW queue for both Incidents and Service Requests.
- Proactively monitor, maintain, test, deploy, remediate, and support software and firmware upgrades on all conference room equipment.
- Facilitate 3rd party access to office locations for the purposes of site surveys, installation, and support of Conference Rooms.
- Provide reporting on the incident and service rates, room uptime, room utilization, and room 3rd party services for management.
- Open, track, assist, resolve, document, and report tickets with 3rd parties.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Department for room changes.
- Inventory offline equipment and maintain a defined stock level to support implementations and spares.
- Facilitate Warranty Repair of equipment both directly and indirectly.
- Facilitate 3rd party provider access to customer location for conference room install, support, etc.
- Manage conference room resources in the back-end systems (Teams Admin portal, Microsoft Teams Room Pro portal, Crestron Cloud XIO portal, etc..)
- All other duties as requested for conference room support.
- Strong problem solving and structured thinking skills.
- Responsible for leading installation activities and ensuring safety and quality measures are taken.
- Experience in handling and troubleshooting, install & maintain hardware devices like Desktops, Laptops, Mobile phones, Tablets, iPad, Printers, MAC books and IOS devices.
- PPE Kit includes but not limited to Vest, Eyeglasses, hard hat and Steel toe boots to be worn in specified Safety zones per client. Should follow the safety rules and regulations at the client site.
- Physical Effort: Generally required to lift to 25 pounds occasionally. Possess valid Driving license and able to drive to fulfil job requirements.
- Willing to travel to other sites located around 2 hours driving distance from base location regular activities and project purpose. Certain trips will be ad-hoc request for a week. It is required to travel 2 weeks per month for project-related tasks.
- Troubleshooting/working on VDI is an added advantage.
- Troubleshooting working on Remote desktop & Mobile device management is being looked for.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in IT Field Support who is able and willing to do the work.
- Maintain proper preventative maintenance procedures at on-site location.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
