Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team on an hourly part time potetionally full time basis . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Creditors Rights, Collections, various other areas of law. The firm is built on a concept of doing law better, remote work significant AI, Automation. Letting attorneys work the best way they do with training support and otherwise no micromanagement of their cases. However, the vast majority of these cases the choice of law is Tampa Florida, so being located and familiar with Hillsborough County is very helpful.
This role requires excellent research and legal drafting skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex legal issues while providing exceptional client service.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to personal injury claims and workers' compensation cases.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations under tribal law regulations and other relevant statutes.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal services.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with legal administrative standards.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases or the practice of law.
Skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law, workers' compensation law, estate planning, and tribal law regulations.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze complex legal issues effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
