IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is searching for a Material Release Coordinator to support a customer located in Huntsville, AL.
Job Duties:
- Assures critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to the Materiel Release (MR) process in supporting logistics requirements.
- Responsible for assisting with all Materiel Releases for the various programs and modifications to include assistance and service to other Logistics personnel.
- Gather all the products and processes needed to generate any type of Material Release. Ability to collaborate within a cross section of program disciplines in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Reviews and evaluates Logistics data from OEM and contractors.
- Notifies the PSM (Product Support Manager) of the necessary get-well extension request. keeps track of meeting minutes, creates briefing materials, organizes TC/MR Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and keeps an action item tracker.
- Verifies Materiel Release data to ensure adequacy of technical contents.
- Interface with customer and program subject matter experts. Prepare presentations, analyses, and reports for government/customer safety boards, program design reviews, and test/mission readiness reviews.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General Experience:
- BA/BS degree and 5 years of equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in Materiel Release processes for Full Materiel Release, Conditional Materiel Release, Urgent Materiel Release, and Software Materiel Release
- Knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisitions and specifications to ensure product planning, development, acquisition, fielding plans, schedules, and strategies
- 5 years' experience performing the responsibilities listed.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate well and work within a team environment
- Proficient in default Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Possess a flexible and positive attitude in the face of challenges and ambiguity
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize important, competing tasks and information
- Applicants must possess a minimum of an active SECRET government clearance or be willing to be subject to a government security clearance investigation. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
