A well-respected hospital near Red Oak, IA is looking for an experienced Laboratory Tech to join their team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a setting that not only promises professional growth but also a high quality of life outside of work.
Laboratory Tech Compensation :
Pay Range : $30-36 / hr
Shift Differentials : Additional $4-$5 / hr
Laboratory Tech Opportunity :
Permanent, full-time hire
Schedule : Night Shift with flexibility for 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
Laboratory Tech positively identifies all patients, samples, and substances collected for testing. Performs specimen processing in an accurate and timely manner.
Performs a wide variety of Laboratory tests according to established procedures, maintaining specimen quality and producing accurate test results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Greets and assists patients with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent customer satisfaction. Performs phlebotomy procedure in accordance to protocol with an acceptable success rate.
Laboratory Tech Qualifications :
Required : Graduated from an accredited MLT program
Required : MLT or MT certification from AMT or ASCP
Required : Completed 1-2 years of clinical Training
Preferred : 3 years of laboratory experience
