A small community hospital located just outside of La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time, permanent Chargemaster Analyst to join their team! This is an onsite position.
The Chargemaster Analyst Job Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Mon - Fri schedule
- This is an onsite position for the start of the position, however can eventually lead into a hybrid role.

- This position develops, maintains, and reports on the charge data master (“chargemaster”), ensuring data integrity between the chargemaster and each department’s files. Facilitates a global process for clinical service line leaders to take active responsibility for charge capture, chargemaster (coding) accuracy, and revenue integrity including consultation with clinical service line leaders throughout the organization.
- Works closely with Senior Leadership, Directors, department leaders, IT and Informatics. Has regular access to highly confidential information.
The Chargemaster Analyst Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associates Degree in finance, business, health, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chargemaster, medical terminology and coding systems, healthcare billing, the Medicare program, reimbursement, and revenue integrity as well as healthcare compliance regulations.
- Coding certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital charge capture review, hospital billing, or health information management in a hospital setting strongly preferred.
- Experience maintaining price files and record keeping.
