About this role
The Construction Manager will take charge of right-of-way access construction for utilities across New England. This role demands hands-on leadership in critical tasks such as vegetation and forestry management, environmental and drainage controls, site work, access matting, and large-scale electrical right-of-way restoration. The construction manager will be responsible for managing a project backlog valued at approximately $20 million, with the potential for additional projects contingent upon ongoing bidding opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple right-of-way construction projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and client expectations as outlined in contract terms.
- Provide expertise throughout all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and project closeout.
- Collaborate with general foremen to optimize construction operations, monitor project progress, and proactively address challenges to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Delegate work and assignments to general foremen based on their expertise, experience, and time constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with permits, environmental mapping, and best practices.
- Work closely with third-party consulting firms, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Attend monthly financial meetings with the Regional Manager, Vice President, and accounting department twice each quarter to provide insights into operational viability.
- Utilize construction technologies and mobile devices to track project performance, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and a job trailer.
