Job Description:
Quality Care Access is seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Manager to oversee residential homes for adults with IDD and ASD in Lewiston, ME. The House Manager will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and overall quality of life for residents in the home.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing daily care and assistance to residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure a safe and supportive living environment for residents, including compliance with all applicable regulations and protocols.
- Coordinate and oversee daily activities, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation arrangements as needed.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations for DSPs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and incident reports.
- Act as a liaison between residents, their families, QCA management, and external service providers.
- Handle any emergencies or crisis situations effectively and according to established protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with IDD and/or ASD.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a residential setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
