About the Position
Iroquois West Community Unit School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic competition coach to lead our Scholastic Bowl team. Responsibilities
- Organize and lead regular team practices and study sessions
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies to improve team performance
- Manage team scheduling, transportation, and other logistics as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic excellence and sportsmanship
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, communications, or a related field
- Experience leading academic teams or competitions (scholastic bowl, debate, quiz club, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
