Procurement Contract Reviewer
We have an immediate need for a Procurement Contract Reviewer to join our client for a 1-year contract position that will be remote. This position will lead the management and optimization of tail spend agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, spend analysis, and supplier relationship management, with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving operational efficiency.
Location: Remote, Eastern Time Zone
This job expects to pay about $30-35/hr W2 plus benefits
What You Will Do:
- Tail Spend Management: Oversee the implementation of structured RFQs and procurement strategies to optimize tail spend, reduce supplier base, and achieve cost savings.
- Spend Analysis: Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify uneconomical purchases, enhance visibility, and drive structured tenders.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships by standardizing price quote processes, reducing tail suppliers, and improving coordination.
- Procurement Transformation: Lead initiatives to rationalize suppliers, optimize costs, and streamline transactional procurement processes.
- Contract Compliance: Implement automated systems to ensure contract compliance, prevent leakage, and improve labor productivity.
- Digital Procurement Tools: Utilize e-RFQ platforms, AI tools, and analytics to enhance procurement decision-making, consolidate spend, and standardize buying experiences.
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, contract review, or a related role, with a focus on tail spend management.
- Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in advanced procurement technologies, including e-RFQ platforms, AI tools, and automated compliance systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Basic Aravo and Coupa experience.
