Title: Business Development Manager - Kitchen & Bathroom Pump Systems
Area To Be Covered: South West, United States (TX (75%), OK, CO, NM, AZ)
Living location: Must be based Texas, ideally Dallas - Fort Worth
Package: $75,000 Up to $10,000 Bonus annually $500 per month auto allowance
Responsibilities:
- Driving distribution sales for a leading designer and manufacturer of Pump Systems & Macerators for Kitchen & Bathroom applications such as sinks, toilets, boilers, laundry rooms etc
- Responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new & existing plumbing wholesalers / distributors / retailers (80%), as well as stimulating demand with Plumbing Contractors / Installers & Specifiers (20%)
- Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager
- Managing up to sales rep agencies
- Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan in South West states, Texas (75% of your time), Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona
- Provide training on manufacturers products, applications, sales process and facilitate training and education to all levels of the sales channel.
- Make sales visits to plumbing wholesalers / distributors and participate in regional trade shows to facilitate and add value to the selling process.
- Scope to progress into a Regional Sales Manager role
Requirements:
- Must have sales experience within wholesale building materials, ideally plumbing products and exposure to wholesalers
- Will consider someone working for a plumbing wholesaler such as Ferguson & Dakota Supply etc looking to progress into a role working for a manufacturer
- Will consider people working for rep agencies having sold plumbing products looking for a permanent role with a manufacturer
- Ideally have experiencing managing rep agencies
- Motivated, hunter mentality, on the up in their career
- Willingness to travel frequently within the SW region. Travel requirements 9-12 overnights monthly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and/or Marketing, with experience preferably from the plumbing industry or related building products field.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to deliver product presentations for both internal and external customers.
- Drivers Licence
Salary : $500 - $75,000
