What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Project Manager - Network Development position at Irving Oil?
As a Network Development Manager – Maintenance Projects, you will oversee and facilitate the execution of all maintenance repairs and projects for buildings and petroleum systems within the State of Maine. Your goal will be to manage the maintenance capital & expense projects, keep all facilities operational and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, adherence to processes, codes and standards. Your success will come from the successful operations, maintenance and growth of our retail network.

Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal departments and our external partners to ensure proper alignment during the planning, design, and execution of all maintenance repairs and capital replacement projects
- Manage projects of various sizes through the entire project cycle, involving individual or multiple locations, while being primary advisor to the network of Independent Dealers on construction and branding
- Comply with department processes and protocol for surveying, defining scope, estimating, submitting for approval and executing projects
- Diligent recordkeeping of all project aspects to protect the organization from risk
- Bring forward creative, cost-effective solutions to implement Irving brand at independent locations, while ensuring compliance to standards
- Receive, evaluate and dispatch maintenance service requests through approved vendors and benchmark performance
- Coordination of third-party service providers to ensure all safety requirements are in place with authority to shut-down sites if all regulations are not being adhered to, during all stages of project from start through completion
- Identify areas of improvement in maintenance process and implement changes for vendor contracts, preventive maintenance, inspection programs
- Manage major maintenance projects and renovations at existing facilities
Your Skills:
- Hands on ability to work at construction sites, to inspect workmanship and develop on-site solutions
- Communicate diplomatically and follow-up with vendors and stakeholders until issues are resolved
- Accurate and timely documentation of service calls and company assets
- Coordination of site closures, decommissioning and removal of underground petroleum equipment
- Provide timely updates while tracking and reporting monthly spending and budgets
- Process and code purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoice
Your Experience:
- 2 years Project Management experience
- Facilities maintenance experience
