Job Summary:
Irwin is seeking a Factory Optimization Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Designing and implementing new manufacturing processes for new products
- Improving product and/or process designs as needed
- Maintaining CAD drawings and other technical documents
- Developing efficient plant layouts
- Evaluating and improving manufacturing methods
- Planning workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow
- Applying statistical analysis to predict future manufacturing needs
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience of 2 years required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
