Job Title: Project Coordinator
Position Overview: As a Project Coordinator at Irwin, you will provide excellent customer service for coordinating customer prospects while following internally published standard processes and effectively utilizing system tools. This role coordinates all aspects of customer projects, samples, and orders. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing project details for completeness and accuracy, managing project timeliness and milestones, order entry and product configuration, coordinating delivery and installation schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first contact with our customers to solve problems and resolve customer issues, inquiries, problems, or concerns, working closely with market based team members and/or other functional areas.
- Receive and process orders/contracts.
- Understands quoting and is familiar with quoting complex products.
- Support orders through administration and processing.
- Correspond with sales staff regarding order status and progress.
- Coordinate customer requests with the appropriate internal teams.
- Review drawings for customer review.
- Confirm schedules and maintain project profitability levels.
- Track order status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years relevant office or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: The annual salary range for this full time position is $56,000-$66,000. Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to: relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and complexity of the role. Irwin is happy to offer a full comprehensive benefits package, with insurance coverage starting on the first day of employment.
