The successful candidate will have working experience in the controls industry, working with large PLC/DCS automation systems that operate nuclear power generation. Potential candidates will have the qualifications below:
- Must have background in industrial control systems and nuclear experience, handling contracts
- Prospective candidates must have experience managing customer facing DCS/PLC projects
- Strong Project Management experience including:
- Excellent Installation & Commissioning knowledge base
- Proven PM experience managing personnel, equipment and materials
- Responsible for entire project life cycle from order receipt through shipment, installation and commissioning
- Overall accountability for achievement of project financial and schedule targets
- Contract negotiation, change orders
- Project monitoring and control
- Anticipate, identify and manage risks
- Supplier management
- Prior successful execution of projects > $1M
- Fundamental Control Panel Design knowledge
- Operate and interact with others at a high degree of integrity and respect
- Self-motivated achiever, balanced in a team-oriented environment
- Good written and verbal skills, able to clearly convey ideas and concepts to others
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Travel: 10% or less
- Prospective candidates will have about 15 years of experience working as a project manager
- PMP certification is beneficial
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will handle controls project related tasks with minimal oversight. The individual must be capable of working within a team environment on large distributed projects. Candidates must conduct them self professionally with their peers and with clients. The desired candidate will be capable of problem solving and troubleshooting issues related to controls projects.
