The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be involved in IT project coordination activities, project portfolio management, project status reporting, resource planning, communications management, and administrative project work support activities.
About the Role:
Draft and create project artifacts such as project plans, project charters, functional requirements, testing plans, and documentation.
Facilitate and manage the team's project roadmap and plans and ensure they are up to date.
Oversee and coordinate project planning and completion of assigned tasks, collect status updates and communicate those updates, issue resolution, communication, and relationship management.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings and project execution.
Take meeting notes, document action items, and follow up on tasks.
Help organize and standardize different document types.
Communicate with project team members regarding key projects.
Develop PowerPoint presentations associated with status updates and other project related communications
About you:
2 years' experience in a coordinator or assistant project management role
Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects that include at least some of the following technologies is a must: networks, desktops, virtual desktops, printers, cabling, servers, WAPs, etc.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Demonstrate willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise
Professional written and verbal communication abilities
Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools – Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Teams, Visio
Knowledge of project management software tools like Jira, MS Project is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Work location and hours:
This is a hybrid job so you would be expected to be in Downtown Manhattan for 3 days a week.
