Northwinds Services Group is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Specialist for their Rochester, NY location. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in executing marketing initiatives, managing social media, coordinating sponsorships, supporting advertising efforts, and maintaining brand consistency. Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing marketing initiatives that promote and protect the Northwinds brand.
- Create and schedule organic social media posts; collaborate with agencies on paid campaigns.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop promotional content for TV, radio, and digital advertising.
- Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across multiple brands.
- Support the development of website content as needed.
- Act as a liaison between Northwinds, agencies, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Assist in the communication of marketing strategies and campaign execution with external partners.
- Work with digital marketing vendors to ensure promotions, SEO, PPC, and email campaigns are properly implemented.
- Coordinate local sponsorships for Northwinds brands, including tracking spending and budgets.
- Organize and manage events, trade shows, and promotional activities, ensuring all necessary marketing materials are available.
- Help facilitate company-sponsored events and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist in onboarding newly acquired companies, including collecting headshots, branded imagery, and necessary documentation.
- Assist in setting up and managing Google Business Profile (GBP) listings.
- Set up and maintain Reputation Management systems, including review tracking and job completion surveys.
- Organize and distribute marketing materials to relevant locations.
- Collect and provide necessary materials for press releases on new acquisitions.
- Track and analyze social media and email campaign performance, providing insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Ensure marketing projects and new initiatives are properly communicated to company presidents.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of marketing experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, required.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Suite, especially Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Familiar with consumer-level video production and social media sites, preferred.
- Graphic design skills preferred.

The starting yearly base salary range for this position is $61,000 to $68,000. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
