A well-established NYC-based licensing apparel company seeking a Walmart Sales Account Manager to join their team. An opportunity to grow with a strong license company selling Men’s, Boys, Girls, and Juniors Apparel.
Required Job Skills:
- Seeking a candidate with at least 5 years’ experience in the wholesale apparel industry.
- Individual should possess a clear understanding of Retail Math across Sales, Inventory and all pertinent Financials.
- Experience with Product Development, Lead Times and Merchandising skills is a plus.
- Must be proficient primarily in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Possess the ability to manage one’s time effectively without constant supervision.
- Proven capacity to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work to manage and grow our product assortment amongst the Depts we currently service.
- Brainstorm new ideas and products that lead towards incremental growth and additional sales.
- Work alongside our design team to develop a catalogue (quarterly) of goods that exemplifies Walmart’s Save Money, Live Better motto.
- Oversee the submission of Walmart sales orders, item creations and Ecomm Item publications.
- Liaisons between our design, licensing, and production teams to ensure orders are accurately executed and shipped on time.
- Communicate with buyers on all aspects relative to orders, shipments, future product development, etc.
- Consistently show the retail market for new ideas, licenses, silhouettes, fabrications, and trends.
- Support the VP, Director with strategic projects

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
