CONCRETE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.

Overview

· Our wall crew’s primary role is to set forms and pour concrete into these forms to create foundations and basements for new constructions (residential homes, commercial buildings, etc.).

· Successful candidates should be able to climb and move confidently on uneven ground and in the air (no higher than 9 feet).

· Successful candidates should be self-motivated and willing to learn every day.

Responsibilities

· Load and unload trucks as well as hauling and lifting materials.

· Work with all types of hand and power tools such as, but not limited to trowels, concrete saws, generators, shovel, pitchfork, measuring equipment, and general construction tools.

· Work from blueprints, sketches, and oral directions.

· Work in dirt, dust, and mud all day as well as extreme heat, cold and rain/snow.

· Work as a team and effectively communicate with one another to get the job done.

· Follow and obey safety requirements and procedures that are outlined in the Employee Handbook as well as wearing PPE (personal protective equipment).

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Ability to work with others on a team.

· Ability to follow oral directions.

· Willingness to learn every day.

· Ability to use measuring tape correctly.

· Ability to use a hammer correctly.

· Ability to work outside requiring tolerance of outside temperatures and weather conditions: excessive heat, cold, and rain/snow.

· Regular attendance.

· Must be able to lift and carry at least 120 pounds.

· Must be able to quickly respond to sounds.

· Must be able to move safely on uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

· It is recommended that you wear steel or composite toed boots.
