Thriving mental health counseling and wellness practice looking for professional, passionate, and motivated individual to fill our open Client Services Specialist position. You will be the first point of contact for our company, ensuring visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, scheduling, and client services.
As a front office manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to support our clinical team and clients. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints, has a solid customer service approach, and must have the ability to multi-task. .
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our clients whether in-person or via phone.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and callers, route and resolve information requests
- Confidentially manage client accounts, including contact information, insurance, and financial information.
- Adhere to HIPAA protocol
- Collect client payments
- Insurance verification
- Perform analytical and data entry tasks
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to influence continuous improvements in practice efficiency and services performed
- Takes ownership of special projects and follows through with detailed action plans
- Market the practice to community
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Required Qualifications:
- Great interpersonal skills and comfort in talking with new people
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to work independently, along with openness to constructive feedback
- The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve without explicit guidance
- “Tech savvy” with Microsoft and Google Applications, social media, etc.
- Attention to detail
- High School Diploma required
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mental health practice
- Medical billing experience
