ABOUT US:

ISAT Total Support /Tomarco is a leading provider of seismic engineering consulting services and the related products and hardware used for nonstructural seismic bracing and the support of Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping systems. Our focus is geared toward building utility systems within the commercial and industrial construction markets. Our primary focus includes but is not limited to, HVAC, mechanical, piping, distributed electrical systems, plumbing, process piping & fire protection contractors.

Headquartered in Southern California, ISAT also has offices in Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Georgia, North Carolina, Chicago, Atlanta, New Zealand, New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Additional expansion is expected.

PURPOSE/SUMMARY

The Virtual Design and Construction position is suited for technologically minded and detail-oriented individuals who have an interest in construction design and engineering principles.

Ideal team members are self-starters that have exceptional communication skills, a strong desire to learn and easily adapt to a variety of tasks. Teammates will be trained to operate industry standard and proprietary software platforms.

This position does not require prior experience and ISAT welcomes all skill levels. AEC or Technology knowledge is desirable, but not necessary. ISAT will be responsible for all on the job and continual training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• 3D CAD Modeling using proprietary software
• Schematic Design
• Plan-set Creation
• Quantity Takeoffs
• Submittal Creation
• Fabrication Documentation
• Data Population and Management
• Learning AEC industry standards and building code
• Learning ISAT products and best practices
• Visual design and engineering literacy
• Clash testing

TECHNOLOGY:

• Revit
• AutoCAD
• BIM 360
• Navisworks
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Suite ( Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Word, etc)
• Smart Plant3D

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Construction and/or technology knowledge a plus
• Certificates/Degrees or field experience relating to applicable technologies and MEP systems a plus
• Professional and clean appearance, organized and punctual
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation and a valid government-issued ID

COMMUNICATION: Able to communicate in all forms of correspondence for tasks related to projects with which you are associated. Communicate effectively; improve the company’s ability and knowledge by sharing creative solutions and ideas. Creating Transmittals, sending follow-up emails after Coordination meetings, etc. Additionally, all such communication must be electronically documented in project folders.

Further Qualifications- The successful candidate must also pass a background check.
