The Position:
We are looking for a positive, energetic Quality Manager with a focus in Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines with an additional wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.
Applicants should have the ability to:
- Perform planned audits and surveillance of execution activities to ensure compliance to Project requirements.
- Performing audits and surveillance of subcontractors, suppliers, and sub-suppliers, when required.
- Monitor and report on the status of implementation of the Project Quality Management System and its effectiveness.
- Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement and initiating or recommending solutions.
- Interface with management and customer personnel as needed during the resolution of quality issues or during Customer audits.
- Assure that the contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to.
- Ensure proper turnover of complete quality control package(s) and turnover documentation is maintained, organized, and turned over on schedule.
- Review and status subcontractor or supplier quality document submittals (Quality Plans, ITP's and procedures), to ensure effective controls are in place in key areas.
- Present quality-based information/materials to customers.
- Facilitate project quality meetings when required.
- Embrace technology innovations to effectively enhance a quality culture in the workplace.
- Knowledgeable in applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations.
- A professional appearance coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize a fast-paced ever-changing scope of work.
Requirements:
- Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
- Strong computer skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF Editor.
- Professional demeanor coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize a fast-paced ever-changing scope of work.
- Eight (8) Years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation fabrication, installation, and testing with an additional five (5) years’ of verifiable QA/QC experience.
