The Position:
Working collaboratively across the business functions, the Quality Director will provide leadership in creating and bolstering a culture of continuous improvement; identifying and driving ongoing efforts to improve performance across the business; embrace new technological innovations as to effectively enhance a quality culture in the workplace.
Applicants should have the ability to:
- Direct the company’s quality management system.
- Serve as the Company’s Management Representative.
- Effectively interface with ISC Managers.
- Recruit and train QA/QC project representatives.
- Plan, develop and implement strategies and tactics to support corporate objectives and build an effective quality culture.
- Review and status subcontractor or supplier quality document submittals (Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and procedures), to ensure effective controls are in place in key areas.
- Present quality-based information/materials to customers and/ or organizations.
- Ability to serve as subject matter expert with clients and regulatory bodies for quality issues/investigations.
- Understand, develop, and implement various quality management systems that may be required by our clients.
- Work directly with the site Quality teams on process improvement, training, and the Quality Program implementation.
- Interface with clients.
- Provide quality training and internal quality communications company-wide.
- Review project quality documentation, work processes and reporting of quality records to management.
- Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and associates.
Education and Experience:
- Accredited four (4) year degree highly preferred.
- Ten (10) Years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation fabrication, installation, and testing.
- Technical knowledge in the application of engineering, procurement, construction, inspection and testing sufficient to comprehend specified requirements is desired.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to Electrical and Instrument installation and testing.
- Proficiency in performing process reviews and conducting audits.
- Aptitude to learn how to analyze systems and procedures.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite and PDF Editor.
