The Company serves as the purchasing headquarters for one of Supermarket chains, which is the largest Asian American supermarket in the U.S. Located in Carlstadt, NJ. It sources product domestically as well as imports and distributes product from throughout Asia, South America and Europe.
Position Overview
A professional who combines software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) to shorten the systems development life cycle and deliver high-quality software continuously.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of specific tasks or features within a project.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code meets project standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines with minimal supervision. Implement data transformations, cleaning, and aggregation.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Perform data validation and ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements.
- Maintain and manage development environments, including basic troubleshooting and initial incident handling.
- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines, making minor improvements to integration and deployment processes.
- Work with development and operations teams to implement best practices, and participate in cross-functional project work.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in computer science, Data Science, Information technology, or related discipline.
- 3-10 year Full-Stack Development experience or Data Analyst
- JAVA Spring framework
- Python Data processing and ETL
- RDBMS query development & optimization
- Development using Cloud platform (AWS, Azure)
- Bilingual in Korean and English
