The Company serves as the purchasing headquarters for one of Supermarket chains, which is the largest Asian American supermarket in the U.S. Located in Carlstadt, NJ. It sources product domestically as well as imports and distributes product from throughout Asia, South America and Europe.
Position Overview
A professional who combines software develop software and data processing (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) to shorten the systems development life cycle and deliver high-quality software continuously.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction and architecture for large-scale projects. Provide strategic guidance on technology adoption and system evolution. Solve the most complex technical challenges and guide the team in implementation. Drive innovation and ensure the organization stays ahead in technology trends. Collaborate with senior management to align technical goals with business objectives.
- Define the long-term data strategy and architecture for the organization. Provide strategic guidance on emerging data technologies and trends. Solve the most complex data engineering challenges and guide the team in execution. Drive innovation in data processing, storage, and analytics. Work closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Provide strategic oversight on the maintenance and optimization of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring long-term scalability and resilience.
- Oversee the design and implementation of organization-wide CI/CD processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and security.
- Lead organizational DevOps initiatives, mentoring senior engineers, fostering collaboration across teams, and communicating strategies and progress to manager and executive leadership.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in computer science, Data Science, Information technology, or related discipline
- 15 year Full-Stack Development experience or Data Analyst/Engineering plus
- JAVA Spring framework
- Python Data processing and ETL
- RDBMS query development & optimization
- Development using Cloud platform (AWS, Azure)
- Software/Data architecture design
- DevOps Lifecycle management
- Bilingual in Korean and English
