Position Overview
The Human Resources Specialist ensures comprehensive coverage of HR functions, supporting the overall HR department’s efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer the HR payroll software, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
- Update employee records in the HR software system, including personal information, job titles, and compensation details.
- Coordinate and facilitate the performance review process, including setting timelines, collecting feedback, and ensuring consistency in evaluation across departments.
- Assist General HR manager in developing performance improvement plans and track progress.
- Support the development of compensation strategies that align with company policies and market standards.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing the offer process.
- Oversee the On-Boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and systems.
- Manage employee work visa and permanent residency processes as needed.
- Monitor and manage employee time and attendance records, addressing any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain attendance tracking systems to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Support HR functions for other American subsidiaries in collaboration with the HR General Manager.
- Monitor HR-related expenses, ensuring they align with the allocated budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within HR operations without compromising the quality of services provided to employees.
- Manage corporate insurance policies, including health, liability, and other relevant coverage.
- Collaborate with the Safety to develop and implement corporate safety measures and response plans, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the management of corporate vehicles, including usage scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with company policies.
- Track and report on vehicle-related expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist in managing general administrative expenses, ensuring they are within the allocated budget.
- Identify areas for potential savings and implement strategies to control costs.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related to field required.
- 0-3 years of experience in Human Resource Managements
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Willingness to work cross functionally within the purchasing organization.
- Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (SAP).
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
