Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Manager, Taxation, the Tax Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of time-sensitive, tax compliance projects and other tax matters
- Ability to conduct tax research, income tax projections and prepare basic entity
- Completes monthly BS reconciliation and account analysis in a timely manner. Resolves issues identified in the reconciliation process in timely manner.
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger for multiple legal entities
- Assist with various engagements including audit, reviews and compilations under direct supervision
- Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classification assigned to various records
- Communicate closely with stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or in a similar field
- 4 years’ experience in general and tax accounting
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a must
- Knowledge of US-GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in Excel
- ERP experience preferred
- Ability to understand systematic processes
- Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and how to extract and reconcile information
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
