Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform basic preventive maintenance, keep accurate records, troubleshoot issues and respond to a wide variety of maintenance requests. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service while interacting with staff and management.
Duties
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist in contacting and coordinating vendors.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from admin and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist with grounds care and snow removal
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Some experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-on mechanical and/or general repair experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Minor repair experience such as, replace door knobs, hang items, fix toilets, minor sheet rock repair, install TVs or other fixtures, minor electrical, seal and caulk leaks, identify plumbing issues, general repair knowledge. These are examples and are not all required, and many other types of repair experience could be helpful.
A valid Kansas Driver's License and background check authorization is required. Must be a hard worker with a good work history and references.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
