About the Role
As an Architect, you will be an ISG Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. Noted as an Emerging Professional Friendly firm by the AIA, this role provides immense opportunities to learn and strengthen skills, lead, and mentor team members with the development and design of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work interactively with clients and other design professionals in a creative environment on a broad range of unique housing projects
- Work directly with clients in all phases of design process to construction, including master planning, documentation, funding development, programming, and presenting
- Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-discipline team
- Serve as a mentor and build the team
Requirements
- Experience with multifamily and mixed use projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited architecture program
- Licensed to practice architecture
- Ability to connect and promote ISG's solutions to clients
- Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal communications
- Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
- Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Experience in multifamily and mixed use development design and creating detailed architectural drawings
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
