Job Description:
As a Cabinet Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of cabinets according to specifications and blueprints. Your primary duties will include:
- Selecting materials, such as wood, laminates, and hardware, and other hand and power tools.
- Assembling cabinet components using adhesives, screws, nails, and other fasteners, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
- Installing hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides, according to design specifications.
- Inspecting finished cabinets for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinet components.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
