Summary
The primary responsibility of a Receiving Manager is to oversee the inbound shipment of goods and materials and ensure timely and accurate receipt of these products into the warehouse.
Essential Functions
Supervising and managing the receiving team, including scheduling, training and performance management.
Establishing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate receipt of inbound shipments.
Collaborating with other departments such as purchasing, inventory control and shipping to manage the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintaining accurate records of all incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
Managing the scheduling of inbound shipments, working with carriers and logistics providers to ensure on-time and efficient delivery.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements for all inbound shipments.

Education & Experience
Required
High School or equivalent
2-4 years applicable job experience
