Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented in an appealing manner before serving.
- Assist servers by bussing tables and cleaning up after guests to maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices are followed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries regarding menu items or service.
- Support catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food items to designated areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
