Bar Back and Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Assist bartenders with preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, beer, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or plates from the bar area.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with nightclub or restaurant environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with team members and customers.
• Willingness to learn about various beverages and cocktails is advantageous.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
