Isla Marketing is a fast-growing performance marketing company specializing in high-intent lead generation through social media advertising. We create and run high-converting ad campaigns, and we need a fast-moving, resourceful Content Producer to find, capture, and deliver engaging real-world content for our paid social ads.
This is not a traditional video production role —no complex shoots or big productions. Instead, you'll be working with real people , scouting UGC (User-Generated Content) creators , conducting street-style interviews , and staging simple, authentic scenarios to generate high-performing ad content. Speed and creativity matter more than polish.
Role Overview
As a Content Producer , you will be responsible for coming up with creative ad ideas, finding and filming content quickly, and constantly refreshing our creative pipeline. You'll collaborate with our marketing and creative team, but you also need to be self-driven and able to take initiative in sourcing and capturing content.
You will not need to handle complex editing—our in-house editors will refine the footage into polished ads. Basic editing skills are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Come up with fresh content ideas —brainstorm new ad angles based on trends and consumer psychology.
- Scout and recruit UGC creators —find and work with online and local creators who can produce ad content.
- Capture raw footage quickly —film simple but engaging content with real people in real-life settings (e.g., interviews, testimonials, reaction videos, staged scenarios).
- Conduct street-style interviews —engage people in public spaces with scripted or spontaneous Q&A to generate engaging content.
- Source and direct talent —find everyday people to participate in ads (offering compensation when needed).
- Stay on top of trends —keep a pulse on viral content styles, TikTok / Reels trends, and competitor ads to execute quickly .
- Ensure a constant flow of new raw footage to keep our creative pipeline fresh.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align content with performance goals.
Requirements
Proven experience producing UGC-style or social media ad content (portfolio required).
Fast-paced, resourceful, and self-driven —you take initiative and get things done without micromanagement .
Comfortable directing and working with real people (not just professional actors).
Creative problem solver —can figure out how to capture great content with minimal setup.
Basic filming skills —can shoot decent-quality video using a phone, GoPro, or DSLR.
Strong understanding of social media trends and what makes content engaging.
Ability to adapt quickly and generate high-volume content on tight deadlines .
Willing to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where speed is everything.
Must be available during U.S. business hours and able to manage multiple projects.
