Assistant Marina Manager - Seasonal

Overview: Join our team at Island Cove Marina as a Seasonal Assistant Manager and contribute to a vibrant waterfront community. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day management of marina operations.
• Work closely with the marina manager to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Operate marina equipment such as Hi-Lows, hoists, and boats with proficiency and safety.
• Manage and oversee the launching and recovering of boats.
• Provide leadership and guidance to seasonal staff.
• Utilize tradesman skills (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing) for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Uphold and promote a positive work environment and customer experience.
• Assist with administrative duties and record-keeping as needed.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Prior experience working at a marina preferred.
• Knowledge and familiarity with boats and marina operations.
• Experience in the operation of marina equipment is required.
• Management experience or demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic tradesman skills, particularly in Carpentry, Electrical, and Plumbing.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
