Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of marina operations.
- Work closely with the marina manager to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Operate marina equipment such as Hi-Lows, hoists, and boats with proficiency and safety.
- Manage and oversee the launching and recovering of boats.
- Provide leadership and guidance to seasonal staff.
- Utilize tradesman skills (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing) for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Uphold and promote a positive work environment and customer experience.
- Assist with administrative duties and record-keeping as needed.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Prior experience working at a marina preferred.
- Knowledge and familiarity with boats and marina operations.
- Experience in the operation of marina equipment is required.
- Management experience or demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic tradesman skills, particularly in Carpentry, Electrical, and Plumbing.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high standards.
