As a Garden Associate, you will play a vital role in helping customers select the right plants while maintaining the beauty and organization of our nursery.
Duties
- Assist customers with selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, maintenance, and floral design to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products within the garden center.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring all retail math calculations are correct.
- Engage with customers to promote products through effective communication and selling techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is needed, including good knowledge in South West Florida plant material
- Familiarity with floral design concepts is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and product displays effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience handling cash registers and performing basic retail math calculations is beneficial.
- A genuine interest in gardening, plants, and horticulture will enhance your success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
