As an Assistant Director, you will be assisting the Senior Director in management of NYSDOH AIDS Institute clinical review activities. This includes review planning, oversight, quality assurance, staffing and contract compliance. Duties include but are not limited to :
- Assists the Senior Director in the development, planning and implementation of the following activities related to the NYSDOH AIDS Institute contract :
- New review development based on NYSDOH AIDS Institute clinical project timeline.
- Clinical and analytical team review training, including research and development of training materials.
- Supervision and coordination of review staff including quality and key performance metrics monitoring.
- Quality assurance as data is abstracted from medical records and clinical documentation.
- Clinical research and trend monitoring.
- Support implementation of expanded review processes such as medical portal use, cloud solutions, Redcap, Salesforce etc.
- Supervises FSHCA clinical staff at the review level to assist the Sr. Director and executive management in ensuring the timely completion of all contract deliverables.
- Provides back up and updates to the Department Director, Assistant Vice President and Vice President.
- Attends NYSDOH AIDS Institute and departmental meetings as required.
This position is office based at our Lake Success building.

The salary range and / or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $100,000.00. Actual salary range and / or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.
The salary range and / or hourly rate listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
