Job SummaryThe Assistant to Spa Director performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties, which includes providing a high level of customer / employee service and support, while consistently producing an excellent work product. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and adherence to basic company policies, procedures and processes. We are looking for a patient, organized, communicative, and reliable team member who will be able to assist in wide-scale projects and agendas.General Responsibility : Performs general administrative and clerical tasks, updates records and employees personnel, and scheduling to support Spa Manager.Service department recruiting : Review job applications, set up interviews, and schedule training. (Spa / Facial attendant Only)Experience with Reservation Management Software and Point of Sale Software, technology proficient.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective verbal and written communication to interact with diverse individuals.Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.Accuracy and meticulously in handling sensitive information, ability to maintain discretion and privacy regarding sensitive matters.Flexibility to handle competing priorities and unexpected situations.Conduct service department inventory counts, orders supplies and retail products.Manages scheduling, coordinating meetings, and department events.Assists in preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations. Conducts research and provides administrative support. Willingness to learn all aspects of Island Spa Services (Body Scrubs, Massage, Facial)Responsible for a wide range of tasks, including data entry, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.Responds to customer / employee requests in a professional manner. Identifies and responds to customer / employee issues / problems in a timely manner, and seeks feedback & follow up as appropriate.Build effective, professional working relationships, be receptive to Management feedback.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
