What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Customer Supply Chain Manager position at Island Ventures?
This role supports our CCF team, part of the Fulcrum Collective (formerly known as "Island Ventures").
Summary of this position
Develop and implement action plans for improving performance on key performance indicators (KPIs). These include store level in-stocks, Order Fill Rate, On- Time, and In-Full shipment/delivery (OTIF), inventory position at a DC level.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Drive results through the Replenishment process from forecasting POS at a DC/Store level to managing KPI’s such as in-stocks, fill rates, and On-Time (MABD) compliance
- Utilize Retail Link/Scintilla applications daily to generate ADHOC reports for detailed analysis
- Daily review of all Walmart orders to ensure amounts are in-line with the projected forecast and within targeted days of supply at DC level.
- Interact with Walmart Replenishment Manager as needed to ensure proper flow of product to the DC level.
- Weekly forecast review across all items to maintain a 10% variance /- to POS trend.
- Lead Time Audit Review- Review lead time periodically to ensure the replenishment system is accurate
- ASPEN-unitize the tool to set up new items, adjust review days, LT’s for current items and work with Walmart SSM on constraints
- Utilize POS history, POS forecast, Inventory DOS targets, and DC Inventory position to anticipate potential out of stocks or over stocks
- Develop replenishment strategies to improve or maintain in-stocks on key strategic items
- Collaborate with Walmart RM on seasonal, holiday, event strategies to ensure proper flow of product to all DC’s and Stores
- Work closely with logistics manager to drive On-Time performance that meets Walmart’s expectations
- Provide collaboration for new product introductions, product conversions, and promotional events.
Key Skills Required for the position include:
- 2 years of experience working for Walmart or a Supplier, required
- Experience working in Fresh or Produce highly preferred
- Replenishment and logistics management experience with Walmart required
- Ability to proficiently utilize Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) required
- Advanced knowledge of Excel- Pivot Tables/charts, V-Look up, H-Look up, SumIf, If Statements
- Proficient in Retail Link and Scintilla utilizing integrated apps within the platform including, but not limited to, Nova, SQEP, OTIF, Scheduler 2.0, Report Builder
- POS Forecasting
- Analysis of KPI’s – fill rate, in-stocks, on-time, turns
- Clear understanding of the Walmart replenishment process
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
