What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Technician position at Island View Casino Resort?
Surveillance Technician maintains surveillance system/network which includes, but not limited to installing cameras; pulling and terminating network cabling; ensures proper operation of networked switches, cameras and associated surveillance equipment by using established troubleshooting procedures and conducting preventative maintenance
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Installs surveillance cameras and associated equipment. Performs preventative maintenance on surveillance equipment. Included, but not limited to, cleaning of cameras, domes and housing, as well as digital surveillance equipment. Pulls above-ceiling cabling for new camera installs as required. Troubleshoots equipment, following established procedures and industry best-practices to maintain proper operation.
