We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Construction) to join the $4.2 billion New Terminal Project at JFK Airport. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, preparing, reviewing, tracking and distributing RFIs, assisting in preparations of bid packages and procurement, and tracking and inspecting material deliveries, among other responsibilities.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and execution of Project Execution Plan.
- Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals.
- Initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFIs.
- Assist in management of project permit process.
- Assist in preparations of bid packages and procurement.
- Assist in cost control and cost management systems.
- Manage construction schedule based on project team input, Trade Contractor progress and materials delivery.
- Change management systems, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing quotations and change orders.
- Track and inspect material deliveries.
- Preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required, for approval by Project Manager.
- Attend and/or lead project meetings.
- Assist in development and maintenance of site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 4-8 years of construction experience including large projects, CM at Risk and/or Design-Build.
- Airport experience is a plus, but not required.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.

Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
