Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analytics Lead to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance applications and systems, working closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers. This role requires end-to-end ownership of product delivery and collaboration with offshore teams to ensure project goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to understand and address their technical needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and systems.
• Lead and manage end-to-end product delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.
• Work with offshore teams, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Share improvement ideas and demonstrate a curious and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

Primary Skill: Python

• Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python.
• Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python.
• Familiarity with Python coding and design best practices.
  
  

Cloud And Infrastructure

• Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect).
• Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres.
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges.
  
  

DevOps And CI/CD

• Experience with GitLab/GitHub and understanding of CI/CD best practices.
• Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines.
  
  

Communication And Collaboration

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients.
• Experience working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
