Job Description
The Department of Defense (DOD), Office of Inspector General (OIG), established in 1982 by the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, DOD OIG is an independent, agency that conducts oversight and identifies, deters, and detects fraud, waste, and abuse in DOD operations and programs. The investigative arm of the DOD OIG is the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) that works closely with law enforcement agencies to conduct criminal investigations of matters critical to DOD property, programs, and operations with an emphasis on life, safety, and readiness. The importance of the DOD OIG oversight work is signified by the enormity of the Department’s mission, the numerous assets that DOD utilizes to accomplish its mission, the magnitude of the $600 billion budget, and the over 3 million personnel who are part of the DOD family. The DOD OIG’s oversight work balances the needs and requests of both the DOD and Congress. The purpose of this contract effort is intended to acquire various levels of support to assist each of the components accomplish prospective activities. The ISN DoD OIG IT Contract Support Services Program Manager, will overse the necessary personnel and support to perform a variety of services that will assist the DOD OIG in administrative, technical, and managerial support relate to the daily efforts to develop and maintain management tracking systems, tools, and techniques for developing plans; facilitate methods for effective communication and providing enhanced administration functions in the following areas:
Project Management Facilities and Space Management Support Program Analyst Data Analyst Correspondence Management and Publications and Forms Program Support Desktop Publishing and Publication Design Services Visual Communications Digital Media Communications Web Communication Specialist (Section 508 Compliance) Information Management Support
Qualifications
Express experience in DoD or DoD OIG program management role preferred.
Experience managing large technical program for full program lifecycle.
Applying PMP certified principals on large scale programs of similar nature.
10 Years of Program large multi-faceted management experience. Certified Program Management Professional (PMP).
Bachelors required in management field. MBA or other relevant advanced management degree preferred.
Must pass and maintain Active DoD Secret clearance throughout the life of the contract.
