- Title: Field Service Technician - Digital Printing (printing and bindery: 3 years required)
- Job Location: Placentia CA
- Provide Customer Service based technical support during field visits, dispatches, phone calls
- Manage all aspects of on-site installation, training, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Preventive or Periodic Maintenance of assigned accounts
- Some travel
- Accurately diagnose, resolve and follow up on errors or technical problems
- Phone support for existing customer base
- Work with sense of urgency
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Promote, market and develop future business for the company
- Follow all company policies, procedures and protocols
- Proven field service experience (minimum of 5 years)
- Experience with some of the following equipment: Mimaki, Cutworx, Summa, Morgana/Intec, Summa and Valiani.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator as it relates to printing
- Good people skills
- Willing to travel
- Organized, professional, competent, reliable
- Knowledge of computer-based technology and comfortability utilizing electronic forms of communication
- Existing book of business to potentially be transferred
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Results oriented
- Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- English literacy
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Technical degree or certifications (desired but not required)
